Stakeholder engagement

  • Community entry meetings

At the outset of our work in each region, ATRAP conducts community entry meetings to introduce the project to local leaders, institutions, and community members. These meetings lay the foundation for collaboration and transparency, ensuring that the project was grounded in local priorities and supported by the communities it aimed to serve.

  • Continued engagement

Throughout the project, ATRAP prioritises ongoing collaboration with stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels in both Uganda and DRC. Through annual meetings, regular newsletters, and participatory workshops, these ongoing interactions bring together citizen scientists, NGOs, and policy actors to collaboratively review project outcomes and co-develop practical policy recommendations.
